The day started out ok, but by my 3:00 feeding I had enough. So much so that my breathing kept slowing down that I had a bunch of Brady attacks. I was cranky this afternoon! And the nurses kept on coming in bothering me, I kept on hitting them! The doctors knew that something wasn't just right so they ran some tests on me. I guess it was all the Brady's that gave them a clue, and the fact that I always hit the nurses, hee-hee! 
The first test they ran was an X-Ray of my tummy. It showed that my belly was dialated (no wonder it was hurting!). They also took some more blood to check its levels. The blood results showed that I was running a little low on blood. This makes sense because they keep on taking it out of me and not putting any back in! I heard that they were going to give me a transfusion tonight. This is good because I'm so tiny that my body can't replenish the blood as fast as they're taking it from me! I also heard the doctor say that they are looking to see if I have something called NEC. I don't know about nintendo but I know I heard Daddy playing Xbox 360 at home a few weeks ago.
They're going to run another X-Ray on my tummy tonight as well. In the meantime, I'm not getting any food for awhile. I'm happy that my belly will have time to rest, but I'm going to miss the food. I keep on hearing Mommy and Daddy around, I guess they're not leaving until they know I'm going to be alright. I'm much more relaxed knowing that they are here, I should be able to sleep for the rest of the night. I'm hoping too, because I'm pretty tired.
Oh, I almost forgot...Keri and Courtney came to see me today. Courtney read me a story. I'll think about that as I sleep, it will make for some wonderful dreams. Keri didn't get to see me though because I started acting up earlier...I'll have to make it up to her the next time she sees me. I'll promise to be good for her!
Mommy and Daddy left. When they said good night they told me that things are looking ok...it looks like I may just have an infection. I'm getting another X-Ray in the morning. For now, it's bedtime....

It's wonderful to meet you, Jamison! I'm about 7 months older than you... I had some tummy problems in the beginning too; I just cried and cried. We finally figured out I had a wheat allergy. So, hang in there! Your mommy's touch healed your heart; I'm sure it'll help your tummy, too. When you're up to it in a few months, maybe we can play!

Hi Jamison! I am so sorry to hear that your tummy hurts. I am sure that you will feel better tomorrow when you get to see your mommy and daddy again. I know you feel better when they are there with you. I bet you'll love that story that Keri is going to read to you too! Hang in there sweetie and you will be home before you know it.
