Big girl bed!

I hope everyone had a good wekeend because I sure did! They moved me to the big girl bed yesterday! They also took the nasal canula off again! I may not be permanantly out of my house, but they're trying to see how I can handle being out of it. So far so good...they will constantly check my temperature and weight. If they see that I'm staying the same weight or if I'm losing weight they'll put me back in the house. But if all is good, they'll take the house away forever!

The same goes for the nasal canula. If they see that I'm breathing too fast they'll put it back on. Although, I don't know how that helps. They're not giving me any extra oxygen. I think I breathe a little fast when they take it off only because it feels weird with nothing on or in my nose! Ever since I was born I always had something there, it's all I know!

I currently weight 3lbs 5oz (1510g)! I gained 2 ounces since Friday. We'll have to see what I weight tonight to see if I get to stay in the big girl's bed! Oh, I almost forgot...I'm now eating a whole ounce of milk too!

Hi "Little Darlin";
You know, I've always considered myself as the "best looking" in the family. However, looking at your pictures, I think you just might be a "little cuter" (if that's possible). Don't get me wrong, I'm not talking about a "whole lot cuter", just a little bit.

HI Jamison -
I work with your Daddy at a company called EDS - I live in Plano, Texas, which is by Dallas. See? You are famous all the way down here! :)

Your Dad sure is smart and he's helped me and my customer so much in the last couple of weeks. I already know that you've learned two very important life lessons from his example - to be patient and determined - always do your best.

He is already so proud of you and your progress, and I'm glad he shared your story with me - I will be sending all my best vibes for your health and growth.

Thank you for reminding me about the power of love and optimism!
