I started getting some of my immunization shots and boy to they hurt! I got two last night and two more the night before! I heard that I'm due for even two more after that! I don't think my little legs can take it anymore :(I'm just truckin' along here. As of last night I weigh 2lbs 15oz (1320g)!! Just one more ounce to go and then 16 more after that :-) The extra food should start to help out. Two more mLs have been added to me feeds so now I'm taking 24mLs. I'm still just doing the bottle feeds 3x a day. Last night I took 9mLs from Mommy. I'm hoping by the end of this weekend th

Oh, I think last night was the last that Nurse Kim is going to take care of me :( I was happy to see another familiar face when I moved into North, but she said that that was only because someone else was out. I hope she comes to visit me from time to time.

I had a visit with your Oma last night and she was telling me all about how you got here into this big ole' world. Very exciting for everyone from what I heard. Oma loves you so much, she just lights up when she talks about you!
I'll bet good money that Nurse Kim will be back to check on you. You are just too cute for everyone not to want to find out what is going on with you.

Oh pumpkin! Mommy & Daddy didn't tell me you started your shots. They only hurt for a little bit, but will help you to stay healthy. Look at you - you're getting so big. Maybe Oma can try feeding you tonight - would you like that? See you soon baby!

I know your "shots" hurt but they're needed to keep you healthy and thats what we all want. Boy, you should see G.A.Dee when we get our "Flu Shots". She's a real "sissy". I bet you're a lot braver than her.
I'm "boxing up" Uncle John's sweater for you. I know you'll be "hitting" the big "3" any day now and, like I promised, you'll get the sweater. It might smell like moth balls but that's because I didn't want any bugs to "eat" it. When you're grown up maybe
someone will explain to you about Uncle John and his athletic abilitily and you'll take out his sweater and pull it on. I did whenever I felt I needed "some more strength" and it seemed to work for me.
