It's been awhile....

I know it's been awhile and I apologize but I'm trying to ween myself off the blog. After today I will be doing one more entry around my birthday and that's all. There's just too much going on for me to be filling you in all the time!

Let's see....I had my first family vacation during the 4th of July week! I went up to the Poconos with mommy, daddy, Keri and Courtney for the week. Towards the end of the week Oma and Poppy showed up. It was a great vacation! It didn't start at so great though. The Saturday before we left I had to go to the doctors, I had an ear infection! I must have gottent it from the daycare because it was the first time I've been sick since I was born! I'm all better now though, they gave me some medicine that I had to take....good thing it was tasty! They weighed me when I was at the doctor's office too....I weighed 11lb 13.5oz! I'll be 12 lbs before you know it, probably even before my birthday!

On our first day of vacation mommy, daddy and I went to eat breakfast at the diner (this was before we picked up my sisters). They sat me in the big kid high chair there! This was so neat...I felt like I was hot stuff! I could see all around me and I could even play. This is so much better than having me lay in my car seat all the time! While on vacation we went miniature golfing, went to the beach and saw fireworks. I actually didn't see the fireworks but I sure did hear them! I don't like the fireworks, they scare me!

I'm almost beginning to crawl now too. I get so frustrated when I can't reach my toys or Danaza (one of my cats). I even get upset when mommy and daddy put me down and I just want to go to them. I try to get them but I can't! I then start crying to get them to come back over to pick me up...I'll be getting there soon though! I must say I do prefer standing up. I like to hold onto someone and pull myself up. Who knows, maybe I'll learn to walk before I crawl...I just need to learn how to balance myself first....this may take some time.
